I think in Jesus I can find real hope. Hope that is certain and sure, and I know will be fulfilled. Jesus tells us that this life will never be easy, and that we will face trials and suffering. But he also tells us that he has overcome the world. Even in the darkest times, we will always have hope in what Jesus promises, and hope that we will one day be with him.

My family and I have had many issues with mental health over the past few years, and I’ve had times when it seems that all is lost and that there is no hope. But Jesus is greater than that - he reminds me that I have him in my life, and his power is far greater than any struggle I go through. He won’t let me go through anything I can’t handle. He is my protector and provider, and I can cast all my fears and issues on him. In fact, his power is made perfect in my weakness, so I should delight in my weaknesses. I have hope for the future, and I know this hope is certain.
